Tuesday – Read I Corinthians 1:18-25
Why is the message of the cross “foolishness” to those who do not believe?
What does Paul say Jews and Greeks were looking for?
Why did they miss the truth of Jesus?
How does this apply to our culture today?

Wednesday – Read Romans 1:16-17
Why was Paul not ashamed of the gospel?
How did the gospel of Jesus change him?
How do you suppose that encouraged him as he was sharing the truth of Jesus with others?
How did Jesus change you?
With whom can you share your testimony this week?

Thursday – Read Ephesians 2:8-10
By what are we saved?
What does it mean to us that the faith that saved us is a gift from God?
How should that truth impact how we share Jesus with others?
How is god challenging you? How will you respond?

Why is the Holy Spirit of key importance to sharing the gospel with others?

Monday – Read Luke 10:1-2
Where was Jesus sending the appointed 72?
What do you suppose He was sending them to do?
How were they to pray?
How does this apply to our lives today?
How does this passage challenge you? How will you respond?

Tuesday – Read Luke 10:3-7
Why did Jesus say these 72 were like lambs among wolves?
Who was to be their protector?
How were they to relate to the people to whom the ministered?
Why was this important? Is it still important today?

Wednesday – Read Luke 10:8-16
The message the 72 were appointed to deliver is “the kingdom of God is near.” Does mean that God is in charge, has a plan and is working in the lives and affairs of people?
Why was it important for people to know that?
Is that the message we are to proclaim today?
How can we best do that?

Thursday – Read Luke 10:17-20
How did God work through the efforts of the 72?
Did they minister like this through their own wisdom and power or through the power of the Holy Spirit?
How does this apply to our service to Jesus today?

Friday – Read Luke 10:21-24
How did Jesus respond to the effective ministry of the 72?
What pattern does this set for us today?
Take time to thank God for what He has done and is doing in your life.

What was the last funeral you attended? What was it like?

Why was Jesus “angry in His spirit and deeply moved” (v.33) when He saw everyone weeping?

What does this teach us about God’s view of death? Sin?

Is there a “resurrection” that you need in your life right now?

 

Tuesday- Read Luke 8:35 & Acts 22:3

Take time today to sit at Jesus’s feet.

What can be learned about humility?

How does this passage challenge you?

 

Wednesday- Psalms 16:5, 27:4, 73:26,119:57,142:5

Today write Psalms 73:26 on a 3×5 card or in a journal and memorize these verses. You can do it!

Make Jesus your Portion today.

 

Thursday- John 12:1-3

What is the significance of Anointing?

What was Martha doing in this passage?

What was Mary doing in this passage?

Who do you identify with in this passage? Why?

 

Friday- John 11:1-16

How does Jesus demonstrate his power?

How have they stood by you in the battles of life?

What strategies are you using in your life to pursue God’s destiny?

Why can we not serve two masters?
