Why is it important to understand this truth?

Tuesday – Read I Corinthians 4:1-5

What does verse 2 tell us about what is important to God?

How does that fit with I Samuel 17:7 that we read yesterday?

Why is it important to know that God exposes the motives of men’s hearts? Does that give you confidence or cause you fear?

What is Jesus saying to you? How will you respond?

 

Wednesday – Read I Corinthians 12:12-20

What does this passage tell us about how Jesus has organized His church?

What confidence and hope does this give us?

What challenge does it present to us?

What is Jesus saying to you? What will you do?

 

Thursday – Read Ephesians 4:17-24

Why is it important to put off the old self as we live for Jesus?

Where will the old self take us if we focus on it? Why?

By what power may we put off the old and put on the new?

How is this passage challenging you? How will you respond?

 

Friday – Read Ephesians 5:15-21

How can we live in wisdom and make the most of every opportunity the Lord gives us?

Why is it important to be filled with the Holy Spirit?

How does submitting first to Jesus and then to each other help us to better live for Jesus and reveal Him to the world around us?

How will you respond to this passage?

 

Saturday – Read Luke 1:26-35
