What might you do to live in more of God’s grace?

Is there any area of your life where you think of yourself more highly than you ought?
Is there any area where you think of yourself less highly than you ought?
What is God saying to you? How will you respond?
Wednesday – Read II Chronicles 7:14
Why are God’s people called to humble themselves when they pray?
What are we saying to God if we don’t?
Why is the humility of believers tied to God’s healing work in their land?
What would God say is keeping Him from working more fully in our country? How will you respond to that?
Thursday – Read Psalm 25:8-10
Why is God able to guide and teach those who are humble?
Why can we trust God’s leading and teaching?
Is there anything that is keeping you from receiving God’s guidance and teaching?

Kids 3rd Saturday Friends Day – Fun activities planned for this summer!
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 21, July 19, and August 19. This is a special time set aside for kids 4 years old to 3rd grade. There will be story time, arts & crafts, water balloon fights, slip & slide, games of all kinds, songs and lunch will be provided. If you haven’t already received a field day permission form please pick one up from the usher’s table in the foyer. We must have written permission for your child to participate.
For June 21st, please have kids dress for water games and bring a towel.
Summer Activities planned by the New Activities Committee
Ice-cream Social & Game Night at MFC, Wednesday, June 11th 6:30 p.m. Ice-cream provided, bring your own toppings and a favorite game!
Picnic & Nature Walk at Union Creek, Saturday, July 12th, 11 a.m. Bring your own lunch & drink. Walking & hiking available for a variety of abilities.
BBQ and Pool Party at Stan & Earlene Schlosser’s, Saturday, August 16th, 4 p.m.

God gives us freedom within certain limits. Why does He set those limits for us?

How does our name get written in the “Book of Life?” (See John 3:16)

Promotion Sunday – June 8th All of our kids will move up to the next class and we will recognize those who are changing departments and graduating from high school. Following worship there will be a time of fellowship to celebrate the occasion.
Congratulations to our 2014 Graduates! Curtis Garrett graduates from North Medford High School and Takota Boone graduates from St. Mary’s High School.
Youth Group Fun Day – Tuesday, June 17th Trip to the water slides, bring your swim gear and meet at MFC at 10 a.m. Mark your calendars now and watch for more information.
Ladies Fellowship Group We will meet on Tuesday, June 3rd, at 7 p.m. at the home of Ann Loar. Pam Shinn is co-hostess. All ladies are invited and welcome to join us for sharing & caring fellowship.
Friends Women Missionary Fellowship Group Ladies join us Thursday, June 19th, at 10 a.m. for our missions meeting in the fireside room at MFC. A buffet luncheon will follow the meeting.

Goodbye to Pastor Dave, Katie and Josiah Gomez
Dave has been our youth pastor since January 2007, and June 29th will be Pastor Dave’s last Sunday with us and we are setting aside time after worship on that day to say “Thank You.” Please bring finger food and a note of thanks to Dave for his ministry among us and to the youth in our valley.

Boys Camp – July 13-18 (for boys entering 4th-6th grades in the fall) $275 pre-registered by June 27th
Surfside – August 3-9 (for youth completing 8th -12th grades this spring) $298 pre-register by July 18th
Contact the church office if you have registered for a camp. If you participated in the camp auction, your scholarship refund is available at that time.
